Give our office a call at (706) 359-3129 and schedule the visit best suited to your interests. Scheduling is easy with morning or afternoon choices. Typically, patients begin with one of 4 new patient visits:
- New Patient Comprehensive Exam: This appointment is ideal for patients who know they have a problematic tooth or several teeth that need attention, but no teeth are currently causing pain. A comprehensive exam is also ideal for patients who want a “smile makeover” or those who are experiencing unpleasant breath or bleeding gums. If it has been 3 or more years since your last dental checkup, beginning with a comprehensive exam is a wise step so that the examination can prioritize appointments and select the right allotment of time and type of cleaning best suited to you.
- Preventive Cleaning and Examination: If you have received regular, routine dental cleanings and are seeking a new dental home, your first visit can include a cleaning along with your comprehensive examination.
- Emergency Dental Appointment: Dental pain can happen fast and cause great discomfort. If you are experiencing a dental emergency, we are here to help. Give us a call so that we can give you a time that will minimize waiting. Also, to support an accurate diagnosis, please do not take any medicine other than an over-the-counter pain reliever like Advil. It is a myth to put an aspirin on the area of pain; in fact, this can further damage the gum tissue and increase pain.
- Esthetic Consultation: We are expert smile designers! If you are wondering if your teeth could be brighter, whiter, shaped better or aligned to make a more perfect smile…. Let’s talk! Similar to the New Patient Comprehensive Examination, the Esthetic Consultation also provides additional time with Dr. Rausch to discuss cosmetic options, advantages and considerations, and give you an idea about price variances for an array of choices.
Payment Options
We understand that planning for unexpected expenses is difficult. Spreading out payments is sometimes necessary. Care Credit, a payment plan service catering to dental patients, has been very helpful to our patients who desire to finance dental treatments. Please call our office for further information on Care Credit.

No insurance? We’ve got you covered!
The large volume of dental patients without insurance surprises most people. It’s true: many patients do not have dental insurance AND they still can have healthy teeth and a fantastic smile. To help our patients reduce the cost of dentistry and prevent unexpected dental problems, we offer a dental assurance plan called Kleer.
For a flat annual fee, Kleer provides two preventive care visits (cleaning, exam, and xrays) as well as some free coverage for unexpected problems. Preventive care is to your mouth like an oil change and preventive maintenance is to your vehicle. You can prevent huge engine and transmission problems by affording lower priced preventive care. Not only does a cleaning prevent many costly dental problems, but it also can catch problems when they are easy and inexpensive to fix. For example, the price to fill a small cavity can be 15% of the cost to fix a big cavity. Logically, it’s not the cost of dentistry that is expensive; it’s the cost of avoiding dental appointments that adds up.
Additionally, Kleer gives you an automatic discount on restorative services. If you do not have employer provided dental insurance, Kleer is “kleerly” a fabulous option to afford dentistry the same way you afford routine haircuts or oil changes. And, you’ll still have money for that trip to Disney or Bass Pro Shop!
